I'm withya.... I'm especially worried about people dropping hairdryers in the tub while someone else is bathing. Of course, you'll still be able to buy a hairdyrer from anyone who has a FHDL (federal hair dryer liscence - $1000 per year), but you'll have to wait 3 days for a background check, and you can only buy 3 in a month.
After all, there is nothing wrong with placing reasonable limits on the operation of a potentially dangerous item. And this one doesn't even enjoy "Constitutional protection." Of course, the Million Mom March would have been difficult (can't take those hairdryers across statelines dontcha know....). But as long as it's reasonable.....
